Is that a factory or aftermarket reluctor wheel?

Loving this build so far.
Aftermarket for sure - $30 from DIYAutotune. $60 worth of machine shop costs to cut crank pulley and wheel to make it work..

The first couple of pics are circuits I added to the CAN box for ABS sensors for the front wheels. I never thought the S10 brake upgrade would include the sensors, but it turns out that I can use the speedometer output (for an ECM in Hall Effect format - square wave) and front wheel ABS (VR) sensor(s) to calculate wheel slip. The MS3X can cut spark, fuel and boost to maintain a percentage slip below an assigned threshold - neato!

The last ones are of the harnesses that have to be cut to fit and hooked up. We finally get our basement ping pong table back.

That is neat! I didn't realize MS3X had extra VR inputs.

Don't know how I missed this. Nice build, I got to the finger lakes every year around Sept, Oct.

Sorry for the delay in responding. The MS3x only has VR inputs for the cam and crank sensor inputs. From my understanding I could modify the board to have the PT4 circuit handle a VR input as well, but we are using an I.O extender box that is datlinked to the MS3x. The I/O box is a JB Performance box that was built to handle 8 EGT's and 2 additional O2's. It came with the entire system when my son bought it. But the I/O box can handle 4 VR inputs (4 wheel ABS), plus an additional number of inputs and outputs. I intend to use it for 2 wheel speed sensors and an EGT for each bank.

Aside from that, I've hit a bit of delay due to having a knee replaced. But last night was the 1st night I was able to back in the garage - limitedly. Hopefully within another 2-3 weeks I can be back at it full tilt. It's been a good time to gather the remainder of the parts. My son is waiting for the new hubs to complete everything for the C5 on S10 spindle front brake convert. We have the dash switches for the O/D lockup, Launch control, Boost control, Table Switching, and Traction Control.

I'm quite excited about the brake upgrade. I know it's been done by many,, and the factory brakes seem to stop it adequately (shrug), but I know I've had a couple of 'Oh sh*t moments' when it's cranked up. I'm really hoping it will be a night and day difference. I know the difference in the size of the rotors and pads is like apple to oranges with the stock rotor.

Getting the Gran Prix dash installed. Behind it is two relay boards and 3 fuse panels - lol.

We'll be able to access everything through the glove box. It's pretty decent in that regard :)

Been a while since a update, have struggled more than I care to say. I somehow managed to wire the right bank coils incorrectly, and then had a piss poor solder joint on my crank signal wire. Resolved those issues and got a base tune into it and headed to the track (with me at the helm, not my son). Had some minor sadness when a throttle body screw came out. Fortunately, it became an issue while sitting to get my time slip - lol. Managed to run a 95mph with a 2.30 60' time at the local 1/8th mile (geesh, I suck lol). But holy shamoly was it fun. Still at 10 psi on street tires.

The pan gasket was leaking and I needed to pull the engine to replace it anyway, might as well pull a head and piston at the same time. Bearings looked like they had been broken in only after almost 10K :):)

Looking to head back on the drag radials with the boost control and launch control turned on - maybe turn it up to 16-18psi and see what gives. Still trying to get my wheel speed sensors dialed in so we can play with the traction control.

Trying to figure out how to attach videos from my phone that are .mov files - obviously I haven't figured it out yet - lol.

I loaded it on you tube but the quality is pretty poor.

Anyway, how's that for a 3 - 60mph run?
