BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

It's going to look great, Jim.
Good to see you getting back to it again. Time flies, doesn't it?

The color was disclosed to me, but I've been sworn to secrecy....😉

Bummer. Disappointed to hear you're playing it close to the chest for now, but I also totally respect that. Sometimes a guy doesn't want to share everything.
I just need to find out what Jack's been bribing you with so I can get in on the insider info too!
😉
Looking forward to whatever's next...

Well, he did promise me a class II hitch for my car if I kept my mouth shut...😉

Haha, Jesus, I have to dig that out and mail it. Should have reminded me, eff mee, so busy.

Dang Jim, now I'm really curious as well!!! I know in my head what would look killer to compliment the bumpers and trim, at least the color I'm going with on my cutlass that will be black bumpers and trim as well.
Since you and Jack are acting like two teenage girls keeping secrets in you're diaries, the rest of us have to sit back and watch the reveal unfold lol!
whatever color it is, I'm certain it will set off the wagon for sure!

Jim,
I'm just breakin' your chops...
I know you've had a lot on your plate the past year. No rush, really. I really would like to see you get the car together.

Speaking of which...where's Blake been?

I'm around...
August was busy and September is turning out even busier!
I'll save the rambling for my own thread...

Looking good, Jim!
That fancy front bumper doesn't even realize how close it came to getting made into soup cans! lol

Blake, can't wait to see your finished product! That bumper was a butt ton on work, but I am very pleased with the results. The front end is going to look killer. I have used a lot of builds for bits of inspiration, and hope others used mine for the same.

Started cutting and buffing the bumpers. Really would like to get them done by Friday night. I have a 3 day weekend, and would like to start laying slick sand on all the body panels for the final blocking, hopefully.

Jim,
Hopefully you'll get a lot more done before the snow starts flying again.
