BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Small update, had a few nice days here so I got the entire passenger side blocked out, in epoxy then 2k, then put back on for final fitment. I started on the drivers side and had some issues with panel alignment at the rear door and quarter. So out came the stud gun with the shrinking tip and a block of wood and body hammer.
Then I decided to paint the jamb side if the tailgate so I can get the guts in it.

Hope to get the drivers side blocker out thundered, then to the roof and hood.

Lookin' good, Jim.
Good to see you're back on track again.

Yeah guys, the weather has been warm, and my little ones have a break in their very hectic dance schedule. This allows me to get at it. I have a 4 day weekend for the 4th so I should really have allot done between now and then.

Put most of the hardware in the tailgate so I can mount it for final fitment.

I had to add some rivet nuts to the unlock solenoid so I can bolt in. The factory had rivets, there is no way to get nuts back there.

Rainer here so no bodywork today.

Did more blocking and panel matching on the drivers side, ran out of some materials. I also sprayed some Slick sand in the hatch area jamb to clean it up a bit.

I'll be back at it tomorrow. I have a friend's and family function to attend today.

You, Blake, and myself are about the slowest FU$%^&* but we are doing nice and quality work. Lol.
I hear you guys on that one! I'm at 4-1/2 years in on my cutlass, but like jim and yourself i want to put a quality ride on the street that will be respected for the work put into it.
Jim, sorry for the thread jack I'm just such a gearhead i love seeing all these rides get closer to completion!
