BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Well, after 5 months of sitting at my buddies shop, and a few hours here and there, and super late nights the past 2 weeks, the body is done! I hauled it home yesterday and got caught in some drizzles, but all was good.

Now finally, some pictures.

The sun has been nowhere in sight these past few days, so you can't appreciate the color, but, the black blends well on the hood.

Last night I polished the front parking light lenses to make them look nicer, they aren't perfect, but worlds better. I then mounted the headlights, headlight bezels, grills, cowl trim, and windshield trim. The door handles are also mounted.

I have to put the bumpers on and check color match, they may need to be resprayed since there were 2 different guns used, one on the bumpers, and another on the body I also still have to paint the mirrors, the rear bumper filler, spoiler, and rear hatch glass trim.

You are correct Jack!

I just put the drip rail trim in the driver's side and door lock.

Beautiful work! It must be great to have it home.

Well, started playing with the metro door seals, I figured the red dot is the driver's side? Anyone confirm? In any case, the damn door won't shut all the way! Not very happy right now.
