Thanks for the compliments. The TIG leaves an easier weld to sand down with a sanding disc. I can't get into the tight corners with it, so the MIG is used there. The heat problem is still there. The factory steel is thin enough that mild warpage still seems to be an issue. Even with small Tungsten, .030" filler, etc.. But it is not a big deal, hardly any filler would be needed. I could block it out after a few coats of the Primer and slicksand if I wanted too.
I never went down there and got the frame. I have Doc's contact info, it has been a matter of me getting there, which I can't seem to do. :evil:
