BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Some more small parts showed up today.

Gas door bumpers
License plate pocket bumpers
License plate light lens
Exterior door handle plastic gaskets
Interior door handle round foam seals
Door striker plastic shims to protect the paint

I still have more to order obviously, but I have to slowly weed through my crap to make sure I don't already have it. Getting old sucks.

Jim,
Were you able to find the illusive interior clips?

Jim,
You'll find them eventually. You have time to get to the interior.

Haven't heard from Blake lately. He's probably hard at it....:wax:

I am curious if he got the color on the wagon. I am getting impatient, haha.

Hahaha,,,yeah, me too.

I'm here! lol
My hip was bothering me all week and it slowed me down a bit...
Ok a lot, but i still managed to get the car masked up.
I got squared away at the chiropractors so I'm back in action!
Just gotta feed the cats and I'm headed to the shop to spray the roof, tailgate and jamb!

Jim, where did you order your rubber bits from?
I need most of that stuff too...

Man that sucks, hope you feel better! I can't wait to see the pictures!

As far as the rubber bits, I got them from GM classic parts http://www.gmclassicparts.com/

I didn't really shop around, I just wanted to get everything from one place and they seemed reasonable for what I needed.

No real progress this weekend. I have been doing little odds and ends. Battery cables, front parking light sockets, organizing parts. I am just waiting on y buddy to haul this thing to his place to get started on the paint. So for now, I'll be doing little things.
