BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Sorry for the lack of updates all. The holidays and sick family members have kept me away from the car and forums. Along with the fact that my painter buddy just had his first kid (boy), and him and his wife have been wrapped up being a new mommy and daddy around the holidays. I am hopeful to get the car to his paint booth after the holidays.

I also bought some new gadgets for the house, xbox one and some other upgraded electronics for the network infrastructure, so that has been burning up some free time.

received my care package from Blake with the rear wheel well trims (I'll be painting them), and the rubber blocks for the doors. Oh, and also the screw caps for the air deflector/spoiler on the rear glass.

Thank you sir!!

Oh yeah I will. The interior may not be 100% for the show, but it will be painted and on the road by then. If gbody gets a spot again I'll have to reserve so I can get it on the fairgrounds.

Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays! Nothing new for me with the wagon. I did purchase some California car covers for the wagon and my Deuce, I also got a new work light. I know I know, not real updates.

I have been busy with Military obligations and family stuff, along with waiting on my buddy to get his stuff in order so I can get the car to his shop so we can get to blocking and painting on this thing. I need to get it road worthy for GM nationals.

I would say my usual "hurry up and do something" but heck, I have not touched my Salon in months. Lol. Just so you know, me n Blake got ours painted before you. HeHeHe
Haha, it has been a bit of a chore to be able to get time to get out there and do something, the military has been keeping me real busy as of late. My buddy not being ready for me to get the car in his shop is also slowing me. If he isn't ready by the time we get some 60+ degree weather here, I'll start the slicksand, blocking, and jambs in my shop.

And you guys sure did beat me to the punch, lol, I think Blake may have his sh*t together before both of us though.:friday:

Good to know I'm not the only one dragging!
I've stalled a bit since the holidays, and lost almost the entire month of January as far as meaningful progress goes...
But I'm back on track so you chumps better pick up the pace! lol :wax:

sh*t no you aren't the only one. I haven't been doing sh*t on the car since December. I hope to start back up with some small stuff that needs to be done here in a few weeks. February is a busy month for me, Birthdays for my Dad, Brother, Wife, Oldest Daughter, then wedding anniversary, ughh.

Then I'll be getting back on this, I have a newish pair of 315's on the back that need to life removed off them!
