hi I have a 1981 caballero and the windshield wipers will not turn on at all even though they did just a few days ago. I don't think it is the motor because it is new. Does any one have any ideas what could be wrong with them.

Start by checking the fuse. Then check connections. Then start trouble shooting with a multi meter and a wiring diagram.
Thanks I changed the fuse and it did not help. What should I be looking for in the connections and how do I troubleshoot it?
If someone has the wiring diagram online and will post it up I can help with the troubleshooting. Do you have intermittent wipers or are they just two speed? When I said check connections I meant to physically check where the wiring is connected to the wiper motor. Check to make sure everything is in place and look for any obvious problems like loose or broken connections.
Thanks Kevin. That helps. So I would start by checking the white wires at the wiper motor for +12V with the key turned on. Then with the switch in the low speed position I would check for ground on the green, pink, purple and gray wires. I welcome anyone to comment if they think I am misinterpreting the diagram.
I believe that the ground for the motor is contacted by one of the mounting bolts...might want to check that as well?
