went to a place near me called nos reproductions and ordered a new dark navy blue carpet and while i was there i thought id look into some front seat covers for my buckets. my seats have the molded in head rests and a hard cover for the back. acording to them the seats must be from a 78 to 81 monte but they didnt think the patern was the same. now this makes me wonder if they are from a cutlass or other gbody. the rear seat matches the front. if anyone could tell me what year my seats are from that would be great so i could order some new covers. hears a pic of one of the seats.

ya im thinking they are from something a little older. hopefully they make covers for them

Of the 4 sets of bucket seats I've had/have all have been the plastic backs. 1980 Mallibu..1981 Malibu x2 and my 82 Camino SS.

I know where there is a couple of more sets of buckets with plastic backs in wreckers here. If you can't find anything closer let me know. The seat material is trashed and they may seperate.

ya i went to a wreaking yard near me looking for a set of hard backs. tons of g bodys there including 3 monte ss but none had what i was looking for. im not even sure what the right ones for my car look like.
