Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

Awesome! I'm really slacking here, you and hafrod beat me to the test drives!

You know what they say...:worthless:
I'm glad you were able to get out there, despite running into a few issues..at least you resolved them and took to the road.

Had a great time at the show this weekend!
Took lots of pics of G-bodies for everybody, I'll post them up in a new thread once I upload them from my phone.
Car ran good and didn't get hot despite temps around *90 yesterday, and mid-*80s today and friday...
Although I sure did! Now that I'm getting older, I'm starting to regret ditching the A/C for the heater-only set up!
Moving down the road with the windows and vents open it's pretty nice, but once you stop moving, it gets hot inside FAST!
Some window tint may be in the cars future...
I know they're never done, but I reached the point that there aren't any parts left for it on the self... Everything is finally back on the car!

Blake,
It's a good feeling knowing that everything is back on the car pretty much. I agree that you're never quite done with them. I also need to tint the windows. I have no regrets about adding new A/C to the car. It's essential down here with the heat and humidity..and it sure does make it more enjoyable to drive.

Got a few hundred miles on the car now since it's been back together and everything is working the way it should.
Still need to get the front wheels aligned, but I'll get that taken care of in the next couple weeks or so...
My old mystery motor still runs great after all these years. It doesn't have much power, but it sounds good and moves the car along.
The car got christened with it's first rainfall last weekend and didn't melt lol...
Four years ago last week was the hail storm that totaled the car... It's come a long way!

:friday:

keep enjoying the fruits of the labor! I seem to only get a couple hundred in between transmissions or structural repairs on the Chief...

I hope to see that car one day, I need to go on a road trip next year
