Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

Thank you, Blake!
I appreciate the information and will certainly relay it to him. So again regarding the quarter window sill mouldings, they'll pop off like a regular moulding, but then you'll have the studs to contend with, correct?
He wants to repaint the car, and of course remove any unwanted mouldings and such.
He also has the lower beltline mouldings on the doors.. those I believe are bolted to the doorskin, which entails welding the holes.

Yep, the 1/4 moldings pop off and then he'll have to remove the studs.
I usually just grab them with a vise-grip and twist them off... less grinding that way.

I like that method...it's less invasive, and safer than try to use a cutoff wheel.

Finally got some pictures in the sun the other day...
Still need to go thru the brakes, get new front tires and have the alignment done.
Otherwise it's pretty much done!

Dang that thing is nice. That single headlight header was a great choice, looks perfect on there.

Careful, they have been known to make a hole in the panel that way. I usually use a roloc disc on an angle grinder to knock them down.

Car looks great!
