Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

Haven't swapped the axle yet...
My week off turned out to be very distracting, so I didn't accomplish a whole lot.

The tan wagon at the very bottom of the pic is the one that I got my front bumper from.
The brown one next to it is the one that I got my header panel from...

Been cruising and enjoying the wagon!
FINALLY getting the alignment taken care of this weekend so I can quit killing my tires lol
Got another week off coming up after the 4th, so I'm hoping to knock out the axle swap and a few other things then...

Alignment day turned out to be semi-successful... and I forgot the glamour shot up on the rack lol
Back when I went thru the front-end, I put all the shims back the way they were and set the toe with a tape measure.
The car drove straight and there was only slight excess wear on the outer LF tire.
As my buddy and I were chatting and getting the car set up, He remarked that his '70 Challenger specs weren't in the alignment computer.
And as it turns out, neither were any G-bodies! Computer went back to 87 for cars, 83 for trucks!
We ended up entering it in as an S-10 and tweeking the specs a bit according to what we found on google...
Armed with that the car was almost totally in spec! He adjusted the toe and we called it a day.
Steering wheel is straight, car drives straight. I'll be keeping an eye on tire wear just for fun...
Super pumped for my upcoming week off! 2 more days and I'm free!!!

It's like setting up a ring and pinion. From what I've read, the shims are to compensate for variations in the axle; the gears are precision-machined. I bet the same is true for the car vs. the steering and suspension components.

This guy on FB has been taking tons of pics down on Coon Rapids Blvd every week and then posts them...
There's like 1000 pics to scroll thru every week, but that's where I've been getting the rolling shots of the car...

Vacation started yesterday and it's supposed to be in the 90's and humid all week!
The heat might be good motivation to get the axle done... nice and cool in the garage, too hot to cruise lol
We'll see how much I get accomplished!
