Been debating adding the vinyl woodgrain trim around the car once it's painted. Should I do it?

It's tough to get a good shot of the car when it's stuffed in the corner like this, but you get the idea...

I'm diggin' it more and more....

How are you planning to anchor the quarter window molding clips? Did you weld in studs, or are you using the screw-on studs?

Jack,
I welded on studs with my uni-spotter back before I sprayed any primer.

Started off today installing the new outer window felts.
Had to redrill all the holes and reshape the ends... Also had to trim them for the vents.
Still not 100% satisfied with the results but **** it. Good enough.
Once those were in I cleaned up and installed both vent windows.
Decided to reuse my old window channels rather than piece together new material.
Need to find one for the RF door, since the original broke apart when I took it out.
I started on the weather stripping and got the left rear door done. I'll do the rest tomorrow.

Yesterday I got the weather stripping installed on the remaining 3 doors and called it an early day.

Today I started off cleaning up my door glass and got 3 out of 4 installed.
Have to get a replacement RF window channel before I can put the last one in.
Then I cleaned the parts and dust out of the back of the car and laid down the sound/heat deadener before installing the rear cargo floor.
I got the seal along the top of the tailgate on and wrapped up the rest of the gate the best I could.
Unfortunately I broke off one of the bolts for the gate cables thanks to some paint build up in the threads...
Luckily I was able to drill it out, but it still pissed me off and cost me time... I'll get a replacement bolt and button it up tomorrow.
Up next is getting everything ready to have the windshield and 1/4 windows glued in.
For starters I will be repainting the semi-gloss black on the lower and forward 1/4 window trim pieces.
I rolled the dice using some Rustoleum on it the first go around and wasn't happy with it, so it needs to be redone.
The clips I got for the 1/4 windows aren't the right size so I will get some replacements coming.
The rest of the pieces just need the dust wiped off and they're ready to go.
