Had my buddy at MWR make me an aluminum cowl to replace the screen that was mounted on top of the heater box. He also drilled 4 new holes in my water pump pulley so it'll bolt to my water pump

oh it didn't cost anything. One of those deals where I always hook him up with master installer prices when he needs a part and he hooks me up with little custom sheet metal work

Better drill some holes in it or she will fill up with water. A really nice piece.

Oh yeah, he's putting a nice drain about 4" to run parallel with the outter edge there

Re: '83 Regal LTD build

Progress has been ever so slow since our baby boy was born. But, it'll eventually get there 8)

Re: '83 Regal LTD build

engine looks great! but how did you clean it up so well? The sbc I'm cleaning up doesn't want to come clean! I've tried sanding it, sandblasting it, and wirebrushing it. It's cleaned up nice but I still have a little surface rust and I can't paint til thats gone so I'm in kind of in a dilemma :?

Re: '83 Regal LTD build

if you don't mind me asking how much was it to soak the block, heads, and intake manifold in acid? I'm trying to get an idea of what I might need to spend because I'm on a really tight budget.
