Looking good!!!!!

ONE more thing at least to add to your "to do" list......

Secondary T-top seals. Sometimes called "anti rattle" strips although I don't think they do much if anything in that regard. I just noticed you don't have any installed. They form like two "L" shapes when installed. Stick on your boomerang plates in front and bend around and follow the center strip on the lower plate each side. Probably didn't explain that right.

Good eyes. I do have them just not installed yet. The drivers front strip is giving me fits. Once I've got it installed the secondaries will go on.

EDIT: I just finally got the weatherstrip to catch its grooves. good Lord was that a chore to finish! my poor fingers are killing me. I have installed the Ttops and will let them sit installed for awhile to set the weatherstrip in its place.

Just ordered a yard of Bordeaux headliner material. It isn't exact but it will have to do.

There's only 8 holes needed to mount the scoop.

agreed. the scoop does not have a stud at that middle hole. The hood likely was replaced back when. Indications are there was a front left fender bender and the bumper, fender, and hood look to have been replaced.

No matter. Just plug the hole and you should be ok with the scoop covering the top and the insulator should cover the bottom side. Nobody could ever tell.

Fixed it for you! :)

todays task is to re-paint the black on the headlight doors and the radiator grills.

Wondering what is taking my GbodyParts wing tip return/exchange so long to get processed...….

I guess I will get started on stripping the hood scoop, prepping it and the t tops for paint.

Well.....from my experience with a certain vendor, it's hard enough to get the parts in the first place, let alone exchange something that's wrong. I went through hell just getting a refund for the wrong part sent and I've read a whole lot of horror stories from a certain vendor. I got more excuses than the time it would take to fix the issue. That may have changed, but seemingly it may not have.

Hoping for the best where that is concerned...They sent a return label in reasonable time, and I sent the part back so now its just a matter on their end.

Adding a pic of the grills and headlamp doors re-blacked. Cleaning things like this up really adds to the overall appearance of the car.
