No benefit that I know of other than the cleaner look. I think the vents are to vent moisture from the quarter panels? But this car won't ever see snow again and no rain unless caught in it by accident so I'm not worried about the vents.

Air comes in thru the cowl, thru the heater or a/c to the cabin and exits thru the jamb vents.
This keeps the cabin of the vehicle from pressurizing and helps the HVAC system operate most effectively.
Car looks sharp btw...
