thats so nasty man! looking awesome. did you have to notch anything else to get it that low?

Thanks man. Nothing notched in the back yet, in the front I have s10 tubular arms for bags, s10 drop spindles, cut down the upper cups and notched for the tie rods. I will be doing a 1"-1 1/2" notch in the rear butthats about all the clearance I have on the trans pan right now so I have to watch that.

Re: My 1984 Monte SS build thread

Been a while since I got anything done worthy of updating. Been working on some other stuff, and fighting with a few things on the monte. But after returning the 700r4 xmember and getting the jegs th350 xmember for my 700r4 I finally have a xmember that fits. Got my factory starter rebuilt after trying 4 different rebuilt starters from parts stores. Also replaced the trans cable which turned out to be a b&m cable at $60 vs oem at $20. I got the plates tacked in on both door jambs but forgot to take a pic of the dr side before rolling it back against the wall so I can't get a pic of that now til I bring it back out. And after not liking the inner fenders not going all the way back so I could keep the wipers, I wrestled with eliminating the wipers all together so I could get the inners where I wanted them to be. But today I had an idea and shortened the wiper motor arm so it didn't stick up so high while the wipers are on, and it worked. Doing this shortened the throw on the wipers but its a lot better than not having wipers at all. In the last pic you can see where the wiper went originally (the far right wipe), vs where it goes to now(far left wipe), it looks like I lost a lot, but the pic was taken on an angle and sitting in the dr seat it's fine.

Thanks, me either lol. No, didn't know anything about that. Its got a posi in it, not sure if it was factory or not, the motor and trans were swapped before I got it.

Wow! impressive build man. Love where you are going with this.

Thanks, it's at my friends house now getting the rest of the boys work done, it will be in epoxy primer when he gets done with it. It will stay like that for now I have a few more things I need/want to do on it but I just want to drive it again so I'm not going for paint this year.
