Hang on. How long did it run before you realized there wasn't any oil thru the pushrods? 30 seconds or less?

I would be willing to bet there wasn't enough time for it to even get up there. It has to go thru the lifters which kills the oil pressure. Let it run longer. Maybe two minutes even. Once it comes out it's usually just a dribble
