I'm with Streetbu, sounds like it may just not have run long enough. That's the reason I asked about the filter too. I'd probably just fire it and give it a little more run time. If you have a way to prime it, that's even better.

What was the oil pressure while it was running?

Pressure gauge isn't hooked up lol we did crank it for while before running and we ran it three times total

I appreciate everyone's input, my boy is gonna try find pressure gauge tonight. They run a small scrap yard up the road from me and do demo derby every year. We're gonna try run it more tomorrow see what happens

Yeah, get a gauge hooked up, as long as the pressure is good, you'll get oil up top, will just take a bit.

IMO I would prime the engine first and verify oil pressure since there is a possibility there is an issue with the pan or pump and continually cranking it over waiting to see pressure you hope will happen will only put unnecessary wear on all of your internal parts.

I'll get priming tool tomorrow and check pressure first, appreciate everything everyone. I'm pretty excited about the car
