86/87 Door Mirrors

I'd like to install 86/87 El Camino door mirrors on my '81. If I can't find any, I'm curious if third gen Camaro/Firebird ones could be used.
Any thoughts on this :?:

youd have to get both mirrors and the underside brackets. i belive there eather welded or rivited. then its just measure twice and drill the holes. i have to do the same on my 78 for the passenger side. i did find one in the junkyard, now i think i need to eather see if the bracket is there in my door or if i have to get one.
