Well colour me jealous.

Just being out and racing is the big win.
 
The car trapped 95 in the 1/8 2 weeks ago with 15 degrees. It has 13 now and trapped 92.5 which is identical to my trap 2 weeks ago on the same timing.

I'll plan to take your suggestion and cut timing when I add boost. Probably 4 degrees and then work up.

Im using a linenfelter lc003 2 step.

Only cut timing at the launch. From reading about the LC003, it doesn't appear to ramp timing back in, so I'd guess you'd have to do that with your timing table. I wish new something more than almost nothing about HP Tuners, but I'd say limit the timing at your launch boost and RPM, then maybe another 100-300 rpms add it all back in or slowly..

Ouch! I thought Ford 8.8 were so strong. Something odd had to happen

I'm assuming a yukon posi isn't high enough quality for today I'm doing. Maybe I got a bad one? Not sure.

Either soft spider gears failed or weak case. The case cracked through the hole where the side locking bolt comes through. Not sure if the spider broke and then launched through the case or the case cracked, gear mesh was bad from the case cracking or what.

It's a 8.5 but 12 bolt, 8.8 ford and 10 bolt 8.5 are all the same thing. It should hold but sticks are mean.

I'll see what way I go. Get an eaton posi or 9"? Not sure yet.
