86 GP project

Nice score. And the additional parts are almost priceless. But I don't think that gauge bezel is gonna fit, it's upside down.
I see you also threw in a shot of a factory GM label for 69hurstolds to drool over. We all know how he loves those labels.

I’m trying to gather parts to get this car to at least be drivable. I have a 350, headers, full dual exhaust, and a driveshaft. Still need a transmission, rad, and a master cylinder.
I found a 2+2 rear bumper and plate surround. Be nice if I can find a 2+2 steel front bumper for the car too.

My neighbor has a set of these rims. I think they’ll look good on this car with the 2+2 nose and maybe an early 3rd gen Firebird spoiler on the deck lid.

There is a rendering somewhere of a Grand Prix GTO that has a 2+2 nose on a non aero rear window GP in a more aggressive pro touring style I have seen floating around.

I think a GT/GTO/Formula style GP would look great as competition to a MCSS or 442. HO 305, Firebird rear wing, GTA or TA wheels. For whatever reason GP's never got an everymans performance version.

Getting this hood finished that I sprayed for my neighbor. Working out a deal for the Formula wheels, and possibly the whole car. It’s only a 305/auto car, but it has a lot of parts to get my GP roller back on the road, and the wheels.

The guy got his mustang out of the way so I was able to get a better look at the side. It was as I expected. A couple dents, but nothing crazy. I threw a tire on the spare rim so it’s not sitting on flats. The rear tire is what the color of the car used to be. I probably won’t do anything with this car until the fall at this point, too much going on.
