I've noticed the occasional smell of gas.
-dropped the tank
-replaced 6 short sections of rubber gas line, the filter
sock, ring and gasket
-treated a few minor rust spots and painted the tank top and metal lines with my secret anti rust formula
.>the inside of the tank was clean, no sediment
-made two rubber strips for the tank top and two for the tank straps

Flashback to spring 2017: Re the installation of the B&M Shift Kit.
The instruction pamphlet mentions 10 check balls. The shop manual says there are 9 plus one trapped. Spent a fair amount of time crosschecking all the info and comparing it to my valve body. I must have done something right - the shifts are firm and will squawk the Coopers during a 1 - 2 shift.
