So here they are. I can't believe how light they are! And we'll built for the cost 2 right side speedway motors circle track arms. 😉

Now to find a junk Blazer. I still have 1 impound yard to check the biggest one my boss has he also said there's a 73 Dodge truck there and maybe an old Dodge van so hopefully I'll get a center for that 8 3/4. He said just ask him first and I'm welcome to anything I want as long as it's his or will be his.

you might want to put on 90 degree grease fittings on those to make it easier to grease when they are installed. Another thing if you are not aware the cross shaft gives you a 1/4" variation depending on what side you use and that you need 1/2" bolts for the control arms. I opened the holes in the bracket on the frame for a tight fit for the bolts and used a cold chisel to make some splines in the bolt to make sure it stays in place.

Pricing Blazer spindles is giving me sticker shock! Holly shipping!!!
Yeah, if you're buying used, don't get the rotors or unit bearings. They're cheap enough new that you don't need to pay shipping on something you might replace anyway.

Even the dust shields are available new at RockAuto

I made it out to the building a little after 12 today. I brought bolth 455s with me but didn't really get a chance to work on the car. We rearranged cars again. We put the 928 in the trailer because it's leaving put the 62 Plymouth gasser inside in front of my car and we put the cab on Eric's SS454 truck and stuck that back inside tomorrow I'm going to Fab up his bed brackets. I know that seems off topic but it's kinda hand in hand because he pulled a Chrysler 8 3/4 out of who knows where and I'm going to be using the center out of it in my car it's a 489 case with a sure grip and Richmond 4:10 gears. A bit much gear for the car but I plan on running a pretty big tire on it anyway. The 7.5 in it now has 4:11s I did start pulling apart my old motor to finds out once and for all what it is.

I still don't know exactly what direction I'm taking with a motor but I'm definitely thinking retrofit roller after the crew cab disappointment. Tomorrow I'm heading out there early so maybe I can get something of mine done. By the way the dirty Jersey bourbon don't like 2 455s in it lol went down the road like a squash bug and when I turned the wheel with my foot on the brake it went straight! Not going to do that again

Well after careful consideration just ordered a set of axels for the 8 3/4 there conversion axels for like a dart or duster that are 5 on 4.5 bolt circle and longer than stock so they will except 65 and up full size brakes which Eric has laying around for free. They also already have the bearings and mounting plates on them and studs installed. Now I'm $345 in the rear not bad at all
