Nice!!!!! Have fun this weekend..

This shade is a tad bit lighter than the factory color. Im gonna respray the whole interior. 3 cans should do it. OPG here I come for a fresh carpet kit!!!

Cleaned with a soft sponge, hot water and dawn.

Let air dry

Wiped down with a clean microfiber town and some denatured alcohol

Sprayed some SEM adhesion promoter and let "flash" for 5 minutes

Layed a light coat and waited 5 minutes. Layed 2nd coat and let hang dry...

Time for work. I'll spray the tilt column tomorrow. If I can get monday off, I'll snatch the interior out, tape everything up and spray the dash and parts up right quick. Will make for a nice video

Those look cool bruh. Pretty much the standard chrome 22" iroc. I probably wont be able to find another set like mine tho. But those are clean and no 22jj....

OK gettin my suspension parts together for the Elco. These are the stock parts that came off my SS. I took the upper and lower control arms to work and pressed the old bushing out. Ordered some energy bushings, new ball joints and now Im about ready to get started. Here's what I got so far...

Stock SS upper and lower front control arms with new energy bushings pressed in

New Moog stock front replacement springs

New Wheel bearings

New brake pads and rotors-non x-drilled

Stock Monte SS front and rear sway bar-Cleaning it up-New bushings and endlinks for the front swaybar

Complete front end rebuild kit. Ebay special. Center link, tierods ect....

New rear springs

Airlift 1000 coil spring airbag kit

And some other stuff. To finish off the rear im gonna get a upper/lower trailing arm kit to help with any hopping. Saving for a 383 stroker. I also picked up some rear end gear oil and new gasket. Might as well get er all done up. until I can find a Gnat posi rear

Pics of the goodies....Lil sandin', primer and semigloss hi temp black will clean em up nicely

I just picked up some stock height Moog front springs and stock replacement rears from summitracing.com. Drop spindles are for the fronts. I think a 2" drop might be a lil low for deuces tho. You would have to modify the wheel wells a lot and maybe pull the fenders. Maybe 1" drop springs up front and out back. I just want mine back to oem spec. Mine is tuckin the rea in those pics cuz the air shocks were worn out. LOL! Looked sweet tho.

Got the column painted/dyed and polished up the handle...

Thanks bruh! Congrats on the new lil one comin! I can tell you will be a great dad... 😀

Got the column sprayed. Paint layed ok. Should have waited till it warmed up. I kinda cheated. I used my heat gun and warmed the column and let the paint sit in some warm water for a lil bit. Needs to be like 70 deg for the best results. Came out cool. Mocked up some of the parts I had polished and some chromed.

No wheel no steal from Grant. Got this 6 years ago. Had it chrome 2-3 years back. Just been sittin it plastic. I gave the base plate to a friend of mine and need to get the onther one chromed. All I need now is my steadfast column lock and its a wrap..

Part on the right (base plate) is polished. Sending it out to be chromed...

Done with that. The SEM laid nice. It wasnt a perfect match to my factory color but I like it. It flows with the lighter blue on my two tone paint job.

headed to work. I'll be sprayin the control arms tomorrow..
