Tried a few "test spots" to see if the Fatmat "Rattle Trap" would stick to it once dried. It rolls on blue and dries a dark grey

The floor and "smugglers cabin" will be done with chasis saver first, then Fatmat Body Armor and then Fatmat Rattle trap.

Cleaned the area with bug/tar remover and "painted" the Fatmat on..

Bout to go see how things look and then roll on another light coat, let dry and then cut, roll the Rattle trap on. I need to get up to Harbor Freight or Home Depot for a flux welder so i can weld the seat brackets in....

Thats west up! One step closer on the "this is how WEst build el Camino's" niCE!!! Trying to get "Gerald'SS" out to him,so I can start taking notes on the 2 of you combining forces on what is in store for the S S's!!!! while youre tacking the seat mounts in,why dont you go ahead and tack your floor shifter mounts in? You are still gonna install a floor shifter yes? Just mentioned it because I have like three sets of the braces(to mount shifter/console)& if you dont already have them I could shoot you a set, with some stuff Im sending Chris for "tha runt".lmk, and keep the torch lit and bL.A.zin!!! :!:

Thanks for checkin in bruh. And thanks for the shifter bracket offer! 😀 Preciate that big dog. Im all setup. Picked up a set a while back. I just gotta drop the dash back in right quick and mock it up with the center console/breadbox. Imma "shim" it up using washers to get the right height and then cut some spacers like on my ss...Man I gotta get this thing going cuz the longer it sits, the more I wanna pull her off the frame! LOL! I got the SS for all of that but you know what i mean. Thanks again fam...

Aww damn!! Missed you again!! Work schedule is crazy now!! Trying to get up now and do a lil work on her.

The Fatmat dried up, and I cut a couple pieces of the "Rattle Trap", sat em out in the sun for a couple hours and layed em out on the rear wall of the el. Stuck like glue. I also picked up some Chassis saver so I can get started on the flooring now...

Bottom half of the rear wall..

Picked up my rca cables and radio for the system also.. Went with KnuKonceptz Krystal Kable line in various lengths KnuKonceptz Kord Speaker Wire 10 gauge in a 100 ft roll
And Im done with CD's. Sony's Sony DSX-S310BTX for the win. An older model but does what i need. I had an older Sony bluetooth model in another project car and loved all the features. Just waiting for ups to ring the doorbell  Gonna hafta find a good shop to make the amp rack how i want, and build a box to fit the w7 sub. Warm out so its prolly the perfect time to roll the chassis saver in the smugglers cabin area....Pics to come...
