If you have a set of tall valve covers I may have a bolt for you. Send me a PM if you do

Kept doing research and found out they are " Billet Specialties"`I also found the 8 pack of bolts.

Warren,

U been in my ride you seen how the 700r4 did while racing that Camry on the freeway.....lol eithe trans is good I like the 700 for its 1st gear gets you out of the hole quicker.

Yessir! I have a new 700 sitting in the shop from my SS. Thing is crazy getting out of first. But I'm stuck on keeping something og in the car since so much has been changed or swapped out. I'll think it over. My trans shop will most likely talk me outta rebuilding it and do another 700. Since all the computer controlled stuff has been removed, they will have to set the old girl up with a brake light kit for the torque converter. Damn! More money!!!

No real updates. This crazy weather has me knocked out all day and thn it's time for work. Imma try to get my seats over to Saint for the hookup this weekend( if Saint is around)..thanks for checking back

Got a little done on the old girl today. Put the fan motor assy back inside the housing, mounted em to the radiator and hooked up the overflow tank. Grounded the relay and ran the fans for about 10 minutes and then pulled em back off to see if the screws loosened up. They pull air in nice!! The c fiber dip could have came out really clean if the part was prepped correctly. 🙁 Its all in the prep, clear coat and cut/buff. Imma try my hand at it one day. This will work out cool tho..

The deck also accepts a flash drive card via a usb port up front. Ihave a 16 gig mini card thats about the size of a dime holding about 200 cd's worth of music. The internal usb setup will house a 128 gig flash drive to store my entire music collection. Toggling thru the folders is super ez or you can search for files/folders/songs by name or artist. Cool deck for $180

Blew off all the cob webs, dust and dirt. Checking all the wiring again and imma hit Autozone up for some power steering fluid and lines. Fire her up and check for leaks.....Wish me luck

Fired her up. No leaks but time will tell. I do believe the flexplate is bent. I can hear something at the rear of the motor/bell housing area of the trans. When I mated the 200 to the motor. I didnt have the torque converter seated correctly, and I was tightening the bolts. Once I realized the trans wasn't mating up to the block after a few minutes I backed off the bolts and took a look. Didn't have the "tc" seated correctly. 2 things could have happened I think.. I damaged the pump in the trans or I cracked/bent the flex plate. Didn't hear a crack, but it was right after work(3:30am) and I was tired. Decided to drop my built 700 in, and will just change the flex plate out. This is all a great learning experience and will aid in my Monte SS and Malibu builds...My big homie Mr HoodWrench came thru and got me fired up to get it going. We pulled the serp belt off cuz the pwr steer pump hoses r not hooked up. I'll get on that today after work. I just rigged the fans to stay on to aid in keeping the motor cool. We ran it for about 4 minutes checking for leaks..
