Thanks fellas!! Just a quick update before I head off to work. I got the carb back from the shop. Primed it. Got the SS fired up and pulled him out. Brakes need to be bled, but he fired right up. Let all the soot burn off the headers. Few pics. I'll update when I get off in the morning..

Grabbed some stocks for $100

Hey thanks fellas! I really appreciate the feedback and stuff. Really keeps me motivated to learn and keep moving forward with it. Im in the "shop" messing around with it now. I was supposed to start spraying the interior parts but got caught up on some wiring issues. Maybe I'll spray a few parts like around 4 or 5pmish....Felt nice to hear him finally fire up after 5 months. Up next to finish the front suspension off is the SC&C front bar and Spohn steering rebuild install. Then i'll get the alignment. I had a relay fuse(?) go bad. The last shop had it mounted in a spot I didnt know about. When my fans went to cut on, the relay started buzzing like crazy. Scared the shiz outta me cuz I didnt know what it was. Shut the car off and the relay was still buzzing. I unhooked the wire and then tried to fire the car up. Fired right up. Hooked the relay back up and the buzzing came back. I have some of those fuses around here some where. You guys know the one Im talking about. It has 5 or 6 prongs coming out of it. "85,87,30" and some other numbers. It was covered with soot and stripping chemicals so that has to be it. Pretty sure I can find it at Napa. I'll keep you posted.

*EDIT*

Yep...Its the battery. Its so dead that the alternator cant charge it. an old red top from 5 years ago. Imma take it and get it tested. My Diehard automatic charger wont charge it either. Gets up to 60% and then flashes "bad". The relay is running off the battery and when the fans tried to kick on, it sucked what last lil juice it had....Glad thats all..LOL!
