Car looks amazing man, lot of work there and nicely done. The driveshaft loop is from fastmonte.com right? Can you let me know if they are reputable or could you get me dimensions of it so I could make one up?

Yessir! I got it from there back when I first got my SS years back. I sent them an email about getting another one for my Elco. Waiting to heare back. Only thing I didnt like was they did money order. Peeps need to get with the times. Paypal is so easy to do. Been paypalin since 2000. Hit him up. Next time I climb under the car I'll get some measurements...

Been finishing up the interior parts. Coming along nicely...

Thanks fam!! Man I swear you and Mel are the same person. LOL! He just told me he was picking up a welder to get his skills up. WOW! Imma do a Harbor welder for $100 as well. Just one more thing I want to get under my belt. Keep me posted on things bruh... I did a lil more sanding and prepping on some parts. Headed to work now but will have the cluster, shifter trim and radio bezel done tomorrow.Snatched up a 670 cfm Holley, braided fuel line, dual inlet feul line with gauge and a 1" carb spacer. Everything should be here by Thursday. Cant wait to hook it up and see how the upgraded carb performs.....I'll have pics up soon... 😀

well damn thats why mel is my boy lol. i already know what joint you talking about cause i plan to buy the same $100 1 from HF but when you get it a word of advice use some lincoln .35 flux core wire with it. the welder says it good up to .30 but thats not true its .35

Lollol! Please don't hit us with that classic line Mel! Awwwwww man! My Holley 670 cfm Street Avenger came in the mail. Just waiting on the fuel line, gauge and spacer. Ill have it all plumbed by Friday. Ill get some pics up in the morning. I'm at work using my celly to post.

Thanks bruh!! That keeps me motivated to stay on it. You know how it goes. SOmetimes we lose momentum and get lazy. Seeing the work you guys do keeps me in the game. Thanks for checkin it all out..


Got a few more pieces painted up and installed. I just placed everything in so I could get an idea of how things will look. Ran outta SEM and will pick some cans up in the morning...

Just dust on the part..

Got the carb. Holley Street Avenger-670 CFM. This carb will actually be for the Elco when I swap the 350 in. I wanna run it right now in the SS tho. The SS will eventuall get a Holley Ultra Double Pumper. But not until some motor work is done. Im setting the SS motor up to be a full roller hookup.

The old guy is waiting patiently for the fuel line, spacer and gauge....

Nothin really speacial on the respray. Its not a show car so it doesnt have to be perfect. I like how things are turning out. I need to re spray the shifter bezel and intrument cluster bezel. Had a few runs. Rushed it. But I like the look of it all. Should have all the goods for the carb install in the morning. Gonna be a fun weekend :wink:
