What spindles did you use and how did you attach the caliper to them?

Bookmarked! Thanks! I was hoping to find a way to put a 4th gen caliper and rotor on a B body spindle so I didn't need to use 1977 brake caliper technology!

How much did that cost? And I wonder if they would fit behind a stock 15" steel wheel? 8)

I believe that is the same upgrade people do for W body cars (Grand Prix, Impala, Regal, etc.) and SOME 16" rims would just fit. Maybe it would be different for steel rims, but I am not sure.

Wow those still look tiny behind those monster wheels!

the stock 10" rotor is actually 10.75" so the radius difference is only 5/8"

yes your rite but its a 1.25 difference cause the new rotors are 12"

your talking about the diameter....radius is 1/2 of the diameter....which is, as I said, 5/8"

not a problem.....I've done the same thing many times

I noticed you have cross drilled rotors....keep an eye on them as they have a tendency to stress cracking around the holes due to the uneven heat built up when braking. I have had two sets of slotted and cross drilled that ended up with a bunch of cracks. They also reduce the surface area of the rotor and wear the brake pads rather quickly. You'll need to clean the drilled holes when they fill up with brake pad material, I found a drill worked best. My pads cost me in the $100 area so I don't like changing them too often. I'm looking for slotted rotors but I havn't tracked any down yet. For now I'm running heat treated rotors from our last years race car. BUT the slotted and cross drilled rotors look great.

Yep you're right Tony going from a 10.75 to a 12" rotor makes a huge difference.. not to mention the 2 piston calipers - So I'm sure that was a great upgrade for you... I know how much my stopping power fell going to a 17" wheel and this upgrade made all the difference in the world.

I just ran across this master upgrade suggested for the 12" conversion you guys might want to consider......now I can't remember what I was looking for..:?

1990 B-body master cylinder (Wagner 104660)- for use with 12" brake conversion
