Good morning all. So i started to take everything off the firewall to install the AC delete panel I ordered. When taking everything off, I noticed that there are parts that stick out some, so the panel won't sit flush against the firewall. See the picture for reference.

For those that have installed this, it looks like it's ducting that does the whole width of the dash? Just wondering the easiest way to get this out?

Thanks!

WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

Thats gotta come out too

There is a bolt or 2 under the dash that has to be removed so that comes out.

What did you take a hammer to the box??

I figured they were hiding somewhere!

No hammer.......yet. The car had the AC delete panel first that kept the blower and heat. I pulled that out too to get the flat panel installed.

There is a vendor has it on their website that shows how to install one. There are some parts that need cut off the out going part to be reused with the conversion I wish I could remember who it was.
