In the process or reattaching my AC in my 85 442. Air was great when removed. Car only has about 70000 miles on it.
Many engines later, now running a sbc 383 (yeah I know...) and am going to hook the hoses up, convert to 134 and see if I have any leaks.
using a brand new GM performance compressor that came with the serpentine kit. Unfortunate my stock AC hose assembly doesn’t quite fit, the inlet outlet holes in the back of the compressor are slightly different (and one is deeper, compared to both depths same on the Olds hose).
anyone else run into this problem? What hose did you use that fit (and wasn’t too long/short)?
thanks!
