Wellston, OK
I also have a BUNCH of air coming from the vented section by the firewall.

I would suggest removing the top of the case and checking the inside...from all the needles, i think it's possible that the evap core is obstructed or nearly so. You really shouldn't be getting air out of there, that's the fresh air inlet

I just parked the car under a tree yesterday for maybe an hour so i don’t think that would be the issue. I did open up the case to change the evap vote before getting the ac recharged. Is the area around your guys’ heater core bloacked off? I noticed mine was not, so i plugged the area with paper towels and now the gd air won’t come out of the vents. Removed the paper towels, and it’s still blowing out of the upper and lower vents. I’m here in Vegas for another 5 days or so and have access to a garage. I have my mother with me so I’m trying to make it as comfortable as possible for her. I guess I can pull it apart again and see what’s going on. Does the case need to be sealed back up with the insulation and if so, what’s everyone using?

Ahhhh man, looks like you got the good evap core! I used some of this 3m black strip caulk on mine around my evap core. Im going to post some more photos of my vacuum setup as well.

I have no vacuum at the gray line when unplugged and no air from the vents. Only top and bottom.

I also have a good amount of air coming onto my hand from somewhere in the firewall behind the glovebox but I can’t seem to pinpoint it.
