Hi,
so today I got car back with Flowmaster 40 Series installed..
I used stock pipes, thats true, but despite that Im little bit disappointed about sound.
Of course I didnt expect v8 sound, but muffler is heard almost just at idle without speed shifted.
After shifting I hear mostly the engine still. Do you have same experience anyone?
Maybe it needs pipes to be changed too.. Or does it take time before it starts wroking fully?
Thanks a lot for replies!

2 things...

1) Some people say, including my muffler shop that they a need a few miles and a few warm up cool down cycles and the tone will change. I don't know how true that really is.

2) If you went with crazy loud exhaust, which ive done before, sometimes it gets old. Sometimes the cabin drone will get to you or your passengers. Or lead to more tickets.

Give it some time, see how you feel.
I was pleasantly shocked with the RacePros, on the Malibu they have a bit of drone under load, but most cruise rpms there is very little especially with headers and a 380hp engine.
