So, I'm trying to figure out the world of replacement carpets. Won't be going into a gbody, but will be going into something of similar age.

I had some samples sent which, there are 2 colors I'm considering. BUT. I'm really not that happy with the perceived carpet quality.

Granted, it's new so you'd get some, but there's lots of shed and the pile doesn't seem that plush/thick.

A ways back it didn't matter who you ordered from, ACC made it all. In a perfect world I'd find the impossible - a supplier using carpet similar in pile size to what you'd get in say a limited regal. Color is my second strike, because it's going to be a shade of green.

I figure on running jute padding, with the heavier "mass back" vinyl, but I cant figure out who to go through for the carpeting itself. If ACC still makes it all, doesn't matter and I just pick a price and suck it up on not being the pile I'd like.
