Was thinking about putting a spoiler from a monte carlo ss on my cutlass I like the way that spoiler looks better than the raised spoiler. Anybody have pics of one done or know where I can order one from?

I've been thinking about putting a spoiler on the GP too. I think I might make one though, cuz the trunk shape is different from all the other Gs.

I've put an aerocoupe spoiler on my regal, don't see why it wouldn't work on a cutty. You'll probably have to do some cutting and shaping, but the shape of the trunk lid of a cutlass is closer to the monte than my car is.

I put an SS spoiler on my GP. I cut the wings off and followed the contour of the raised portion of the trunk for the ends and cut the spoiler in the middle to reshape it to match the curve of the trunk..

here's another couple of pictures of it when I was in the middle of a paint job..

I have a later model lay down style Monte spoiler on my '87. I'm looking at doing the same thing as pontiacgp and cutting the "wings" off because they just don't quite look right on the Cutlass. They cover up the top of the taillights and have to be trimmed to keep them from rubbing.

Thanks for the info. Ive seen a few new ones on a couple sites, didnt realize how expensive a new spoiler would be lol.

I got mine for $30. You don't need a new one...especially if you need to modify it...

I like that look of the lay down spoiler. I think I'll see if I can find one and see how it looks. I used the stock studs to mount it so the lay down spoiler should have the same pattern.

FE3X CLONE...I like those flairs on the rear wheel openings. Did you fab those or borrow them from another car and those wheels look awesome
