I don't know how they work, the GP rear lights I have have a bulb on each side which both work as the signal and brake light. You'd need to modify the wiring

European tail lights of that era had to have orange in them that blinked.

No wiring difference just blinks red and orange

On my Malibu set you do have to move the reverse light but they blink red and orange

Those are some cool lenses....but they are priced a little exorbitantly.
I've never seen Euro. GP and Cutlass lenses before.
I have seen the Malibu lenses.

On my Euro lenses, I had to add a separate wire for the brake light circuit. I also had to reconfigure the taillight harness to '78 style. I do like the amber turn signal and hazard lenses. I think they're more visible than the red lenses. Many new vehicles today use amber turn signal lenses.
