What a trip! Fantastic! Drove to Watkins Glenn state park. Drove to Boston, up the coast along Rt. 1 on the coast. Acadia national park in Maine, bar harbor, notch state park, Rt. 2 into New Hampshire and Vermont. 1963 total miles.

Nice. Drove the Monte home to Long Island a few years ago, took the ferry to Connecticut, drove up 95 to Maine. Need to find pic's of the Monte by the York Lighthouse. People do tend to want to talk when they see out of state plates on an older car.
I always get a kick out of people who are surprised that some of us drive old cars everywhere. I mean, they wouldn't have thought twice about driving your 442 anywhere in the late 80s, what makes it so bizarre now? Most of our cars are probably in better condition than they were when they were a few years old.
I drove a 67 F100 to South Dakota in 93, people I worked with freaked.
