I'm thinking of saying "**** it" and set up my back-up lights with a toggle switch..That would just be cool, anyways.

I went to college with a guy who did that on his piece of sh*t truck that he had.

It looked super cool in the parking lot during class with the reverse lights still on, draining the battery...

You shouldn't be having this much trouble with the thing.... especially if they worked before you took it in

Trying to get this shop to correct one of their mistakes is like trying to get a drunk driver to turn themself in.

i actually wanna get some really good fog lights and mount them to the bottom of my rear bumper for "backup lights", but have a momentary switch for it. so if someone gets too close, shine em!

I am replacing my backup light bulbs with these new super bright driving lights which I can get to fit in there, and they will also have a momentary push button switch as well JUST to flash tailgating *ssh*les -- man I f***ing hate them.

most guys who tailgate have seen that trick with the reverse lites and are usually not bothered by it....a momentary brake like switch would work better. I like to wash my windshield and watch the guy behind be get pissed off with the overspray hitting his windshield and that usually encourages him/her to pass or back off after a few shots

I was hoping it would be simpler..It seems like they really went out of their way to disable the lights. :?

I wonder what would happen if you did that to a cop that was on your tail 8)

if a cop is that close to my tail they usually have their lites on and have pulled me over... 😢

This may be a dumb question but I don't think I saw it asked. Have you tried turning the collar on the column? Where a column shifted car would have its shifter, try turning that collar with the ignition on, if it spins freely, it has not been hooked back up. or look at that piece while shifting your car from PRNDSL, see if it spins, if not there's your problem.
