I finally decided to use 3M, 2 part bumper repair.
I did loose some or the grain/texture.
I was going to spray it was SEM texture spray but I got to nervous and didn't want to push my luck.

Is that a brown cutlass dash gage surround?
I've got an almost mint one sitting in dad's storage shed. If you want it cover shipping and it's yours.
Just filled it in and sanded it to shape.
Then sprayed it with Kirbans color match burgundy It was fairly simple.
I don't know why no one here has done it before.
