So as some may know i picked up my project as a roller a couple years ago now. engine is in, and i am trying to put things where they go. Problem is, i dont know where anyhting goes. Majority of the parts were off the car when i got it and the rest were taken off over a year ago when i began the dissasembly for the frame off. As of right now i need to see where and how the battery tray attaches in the engine bay AND (this part is not oem) where cani attach the coil pack relocation brackets. theyre about 9" long ,not sure if i should attach to fenders because that may look a little weird .Any help is much appreciated. TIA

remind us of which vehicle you picked up, please. while it shouldn't matter, El Camino battery tray was behind the passenger side headlight.

have you tried looking for any engine bay pics of your model on the forum?

I can’t find pics of just the tray. Yes it is for an ls swap.
What I'm getting at is you can see the orientation of the battery and then put the tray in there and line the holes up..

This the kind of pics on finding. I do not have fenders or rad support on there yet. But I tried to find the spot to bolt on the tray to frame and there isn’t any. Think there’s only 1 hole on that side.idk if I need to remove the bumper bracket and bolt through that. What I really would like is a pic of the battery trade woth no battery on there.

Here is a picture of the battery location. One bolt bolted into the fender and the other two (I think) bolted into the inner fender. It is the same for both sides just flipped. If you are planning on not using a factory style battery tray you will need to make it fit. Just like you are doing with your LS.
