Where the carpet covers the back light section, do you put the trunk mat over this, or the back pice over the trunk mat.
Seemed better with the back piece over the trunk mat on mine.
Just installed yesterday.

I wonder if you can get a kit without the spare tire cover. I plan to either remove or alter my spare tire trunk sheetmetal. I am going with custom wheels that will make the spare obsolete. Can a custom kit be ordered that will make the passenger side resemble the drivers side? I should ask GBodyParts.

I thought the same, but went with OEM from GBODYPARTS, mine is a REM, nice kit.
Not fond of gluing the back tail light piece in, but it came out great! Spent hours fitting until it was perfect.
It actually looks better than te picture.

I like the Hurst Trunk Kit. Let's see a "442" on the trunk lid with an Olds Rocket on the floor of the trunk with a spare tire delete option. Where's my wallet at? 😀

I'm almost to the end of my Cutlass project. I'm ready to finish off the trunk and was lookin for input on where to buy a good quality black carpet kit. Also does anyone sell panels that I could have covered myself.
