hey guys i am getting my shell ready to go on the chassis and i noticed this. what would you suggest i do own a sandblaster but if i can wire wheel it then epoxy primer it i would be much happier with that

Sand blast would give the best results. But it gets everywhere. But it would be difficult under the car. But if it's off the frame it will be easier. I sandblasted my frame and body. It was a pain but turned out good. Also it gets all of the rust off. Wire wheel won't get it all.
 
How come you still have the rear control arms on?. You started a thread about a shop messing up your rear control arms and you were looking for aftermarket arms..

owns a 86 and i own a cutlass used to have a grand prix but that donated it self to the cutlass due to much rot
 
yes i have stolen some bolts off the cars :mrgreen: but do you think it would be fine to lean the car on the side for a day. i feel like with the matress under it i would not have a problem but then again it is heavy
 
I had an 82 monte with a bent body once and it was pretty lame. Not worth the risk IMO
