Today I saw an ad for a car with an "automorphic transmission". not really a "common" mistake, but I figured someone would get a kick out of it.

If I were smarter, I'd be able to make a Transformers joke out of this.

Well, seeing as it was a Toyota Camry and not a transformer, I think they may have meant "automatic transmission".

"Feeler" or "Testing the water" ads -- especially when they have no photos and poor descriptions. Being coy and expecting someone to make you a ridiculously high offer is just stupid. If you want to sell something, just list it.

Thats funny! But yea those ads make no sense to me at all...

I'm also not a fan of "what's it worth?" threads on forums. Is Google broken? Figure it out yourself. It's worth whatever someone will pay you for it.

People combining rare with valuable. I see this all the time on ads on ebay, craigslist and such.

I'm also into camaros and it absolutely pisses me off when I see someone advertise a "84 iroc" camaro... Or call Z28 rims iroc rims.

I recently sold a set of "Z28" rims to a guy for 150... Two days later I see him selling his whole car. First off selling a 84 iroc. They didn't make till 85. And he said he put new "iroc" rims and tires that costed... Thats right costed him 400$. People sometimes...

Or rare being desirable! As I've said in the past about the Aeros with the bench seat and column shifter, yeah it's rare but I'd rather have one with a console and buckets.

I just don't like those because it's just like those "feeler" threads/ads. It makes me think, "this guy doesn't really care about this item. He just wants to know how much money he can make off of it."

That one can actually work in your favor. I have a list pf words that I search for including crager, cutless, holly, camero, 200r4, etc. Sometimes these idiots get no other calls just because everyone else underestimated their lack of education/laziness.
