"Feeler" or "Testing the water" ads -- especially when they have no photos and poor descriptions. Being coy and expecting someone to make you a ridiculously high offer is just stupid. If you want to sell something, just list it.

Didn't want to read all 9 pages.....so sorry if it was already mentioned. These bug the piss out of me:

-Calling 403's, 400 sbc's and Pontiac engines big blocks
-Calling engines motors...motors are electric!
-Car ads with pics taken at night, or saying the car is "running hard".
-People estimating how much tread is left on tires.....40%???
-Quadrajunk
-Car ads with owners in the pics or posting pics upside down or sideways
-Convulsive tubing, small black chevy, cadillac converter, calling a hearse a hurst, elderbrock.
-Wanting a fortune for a car and you can't even spell it....Camero. Cuteless/Cutles, calling a Caprice a Capri, Grand Pree/Pris
-Just plan f******n ignorance in general

I could go on and on.

I like those with no price and they have "make an offer" and then they write "no low ballers I know what my car is worth"
Hey, why don't you give everyone else a clue at what you think it's worth!

Touting "ex-cop car" as a GOOD thing  .

LOL! If they only knew what those squads go through! Some of those cars get used 24 hrs a day between 3 shifts. 50K miles on one of those are HARD miles if it's a beat car.

I bought a 77 Impala like this one from the Phoenix PD Auction in 1984,It had 300,000 miles on it I drove it until 2012 . When I sold it it had over 500,000 miles on it. Best damn car I ever owned. Been kicking my self ever since. it was easy to repair and cheep to insure. I didn't have to worry about some dick door dinging it It was so ugly no one wanted to park next to it.

I joke with the guys at work when we paint a customers engine blue i say "its balanced and blue painted"

Today I saw an ad for a car with an "automorphic transmission". not really a "common" mistake, but I figured someone would get a kick out of it.

If I were smarter, I'd be able to make a Transformers joke out of this.
