"Feeler" or "Testing the water" ads -- especially when they have no photos and poor descriptions. Being coy and expecting someone to make you a ridiculously high offer is just stupid. If you want to sell something, just list it.

I bought a 77 Impala like this one from the Phoenix PD Auction in 1984,It had 300,000 miles on it I drove it until 2012 . When I sold it it had over 500,000 miles on it. Best damn car I ever owned. Been kicking my self ever since. it was easy to repair and cheep to insure. I didn't have to worry about some dick door dinging it It was so ugly no one wanted to park next to it.G-Body_Vet said:DRIVEN said:Touting "ex-cop car" as a GOOD thing  .
LOL! If they only knew what those squads go through! Some of those cars get used 24 hrs a day between 3 shifts. 50K miles on one of those are HARD miles if it's a beat car.

If I were smarter, I'd be able to make a Transformers joke out of this.joesregalproject said:Today I saw an ad for a car with an "automorphic transmission".not really a "common" mistake, but I figured someone would get a kick out of it.
