Is that a Limited Slip or a Posi?

People using any of these terms get instant respect/browny points;
1) Trac-Loc
2) True-Trac
3) Sure-Grip
4) Twin-Grip

I think all my gripes have been covered, with the exception on one: PUNCTUATION.

is it really all that hard to insert a comma, or a periodto seperate a thought? reading some of the ads on CL just gives me a headache trying to unerstand :wtf: they're ( :wink: ) talking about.

btw - 83regal? you completely missed the rear fenders just below the bumbers on that bmw.
the misspelling of things doesn't bother me as much as the BARRETT-JACKSON crack addicts
and yes, the guys that show up at my door asking if the cutlass/monte is for sale, or do I think it'd beat so and so's car :blam:

Without getting into a meaningless debate about what a small and big block are, and where the term came from;
Yes, there were smaller block Cadillacs. So the Big Block Cadillac term, which is widely used is perfectly acceptable.

I would have thought Big Block Pontiac, or Big Block Olds to be more of a nit picky item.
The Pontiac thing for sure :lol: .

I guess I always put Cadillacs in a special category. They were more about engine "families" than "big" or "small" block. Kind of a weird niche like the Ford FEs or modifieds. I don't know...just always sounded off to me to call a Cadillac a big block.

HI holley vs holly over the years have got me some good deals on parts on ebay. When people put (holly) vs holley all you got is what they typed in,650DP and 750DP along with a 930 carbshop carb for under $150 lol .lol You go on ebay and put in holley that's what you got not holly 😀 ,My friend went shopping holly for a month and come out with 8 or 9 carbs. One set of carbs for the tunnel ram for just over $200 they are 600DP.

Nice. I have a list of commonly misspelled CL search words too. Sometimes it works out.

Worst way I've ever seen posi-traction spelt is "Pause attraction".

:lol:

When I was looking for paddle tires for my sandrail the ad had them listed as Dixie Peck instead of Dick Cepek.

pause attraction happens when two dogs are in heat...

I don't like transmission to be used instead of transmission although I am guilty of it at times

Instead of 4-4-2, people like to say four forty two. Also with the new, off the showroom floor mustangs coming to shows but the worst part of that is they actually get a trophy at the show.

speak of the devil, i saw a 2013 mustang gt get "BEST CONDITION" at a car show. how the hell is that fair? no sh*t its in the best condition, the guy who owns it drove it straight from the dealership to this cruise!

LOL a freinds Dakota RT won "best paint" a couple years back. He had paid someone to wetsand and buff out the black paint when the truck was about a year old. He even has a little trophy FTW !!
