Not for cars but it drives me ape sh*t when people stop at a yield sign with no traffic around.

I have a 565 Big Block Chevy, wait I mean a 454 bored .350 over with a stroker crank :lol:hurst1979olds said:I don't know why but when people refer to their engine as a "355", "360" or a "388 stroker" it bugs me. Why not say is a 350 bored .030.

He then told me how all GM products were made by Chevy, and how Chevy owns GM.A small back and forth ensued, and I respectfully told him he was incorrect. So I sold him a water pump for the Olds 307 that he had in his Cadillac, and the guy left happy.
So I hate people who think their Olds/Buick/Pontiac motors are Chevy motors! :x
Yeah....no kidding....probably the same people who stop on entrance ramps to the interstate!SilverShadow87 said:Not for cars but it drives me ape sh*t when people stop at a yield sign with no traffic around.

well....if you want to be technical.....the first 4-4-2's were called just that....four four two....but later on, after so few people called them that, GM changed the emblems and the name to match what most people refered to them as....442's ...or four forty two.....even though it still is hard for me to say it that way, I can understand why so many non olds fans say it that way.Minion1186 said:Instead of 4-4-2, people like to say four forty two. Also with the new, off the showroom floor mustangs coming to shows but the worst part of that is they actually get a trophy at the show.

Tardiness, I work with people that show up late almost everyday, good thing they don't work for me, they wouldn't for long.
Light Beer, why, just why? Ruins the aspect of enjoying a good beer.

What I love are those who say they used to have a cutlass with a 442 engine....and I say....which one? 455? 400? 350? 403? 307?....and they look at me funny....and say something smart like.....naw...it was an actual 442 engine....![]()
