Seen instead of saw.

"Yeah I seen Tony's car dahn at the cruise last week too."

Yes! Proper english (or at least somewhat) goes a long way when speaking, and typing. I noticed, people get pissed when you correct their grammar after every sentence  (another thing I love doing to coworkers  , I'm a jerk sometimes).

This is true. You can't go into an interview and talk like some illiterate moron and expect to get the job. But for some reason, "I seen" bugs me the most. I hear it at least once a day.

Using "homemade" words while interacting with the general public in a professional scenario. That really gets under my skin, it's one thing amongst friends, but not addressing customers.

Here's another one to add to the list, besides ran when parked, or restoration started. Car runs out good.
WTF is it, a hose or a car?? Runs out...
I can't believe some of these heehaw terms. It just makes me want to gag.

AX = Ask..... :roll:

People with blue tooth ear pieces...talking to somebody else and to me at the same time...and I am supposed to know the difference?....

People who let their cell phone ring but never answer it and the ringer is turned up full blast of some stupid ring tone.... :blam:

When ppl put dings in your car and walk off like it didn't matter.

When u go outside and find someone sitting on top of your car. U ask them wtf are u doing and they look at you like your stupid. (almost beat the sit out of someone for that)

When ppl post sh*t on craiglist for sale under Montecarlo not Monte Carlo.

I had a friend get into a fist fight with a cop once when the cop dented his car. The cop ended up apoligizing.

was that apology given after or before your friend was booked?

It might be different for other states but Michigan passed a law probably 6+ years ago that you only have to stop for a school bus when the red lights and flip out stop sign are on and they changed the routing so that kids don't have to cross a street to get on the bus.
When the bus only has the yellow hazards on it is fine to pass and these are different from the yellow lights up top that come on just before the red ones but I still end sitting behind someone that does not know they can pass while I watch oncoming traffic still moving and probably wondering why we stopped.
I have actually had people lock up their brakes in front of me trying to stop for a bus with only hazards on just because they don't know the law.

This was back in the early 60s. He never got booked. My buddy still has the car, a 64 gto, and the dent is still there, although its small. They p.d. was supposed to pay to replace the bumper, but never did. The dent has kinda become the trademark of the car.

I love the ones that say its a inline v6 it can't be both,Or in a really old car they call it a v6 when its really a inline 6.Or they call a jeep grand cherokee a cherokee they are two different suvs.My favorite one is any car with huge wheels under it for 10k.You have a car worth a grand and have 3 grand in wheels and tires how does that even add up to 10k?Or they want to trade only and everything they list is worth double or triple what their car is worth.
