Build A Hellcat Eater

I started building mine so long ago I only wanted it to be a GN killer.

Why didn't you name the thread "How Do I go 9s in a G?"

Additionally, those referring to them as "grandma cars" are probably young enough that they would actually be your great-grandma's car, but that doesn't sound as good, do it?
It's a pointless thread. The G is an extremely versatile platform; how much money ya got and how crafty are ya?
Actually I bought a 82 Grand Prix new. I wasn't a grandpa. Just sayin.
An 86 MCSS in my past with an 86 Elco in the garage now, a work in progress. Also own a restored 69 Trans Am(just want to make a point) which can be smacked down by my daily driver, 2020 Ram 1500. It's all in how much fun you have.lol

Ok I,ll bite. How about a 2 door malibu, full hotchkiss suspension. a stroked LS7 with supercharger, A reworked 4L80E with overdrive followed by a 9" ford w/3:73 gears.? I am thinking 2800 lbs and about 1000 Hp at the rear wheels. As for creator comforts try some earmuffs or a loud stereo :}

Yep, that’s more than enough to shame a hellcat

As I said earlier the Hellcat is a super car but carries a pretty healthy price tag. I am impressed that they can lay down that kind of power and still be emission compliant. Although I have the means to buy one I don't want one and really can't imagine having that kind of power on the street. I'm a drag racer and still think it's impressive the the Sonoma w/ an old school 350 chevy can take one down at the track.

it takes alot more than HP to beat a Hellcat, you need to put the power to the pavement among other things

and even when you get there you need to know how to drive, it's not as easy as it looks and some are making good money on wannabes

I think a Hellcat would not make a great DD. At WOT, they will completely drain a full tank of gas in 15 minutes.

Plus Hellcats have various Nanny gadgets that can help novice racers take off with ease such as fancy traction controls with street and track modes.
