I would suggest you remove your first post cause your opening yourself up for a slander/libel case. I don't suggest taking them to court cause I have been representing clients in civil trials for over 20 years and there is a bunch of problems with your story the way you have it posted.

Well that suck's not knowing!! Advice, go there inperson "calmly" and find out what's going on, then you'll know what your next move is.
If it's fix pay, take car and never deal with him again. Chalk it up to lesson learned! If it's not fixed proper, get a date when it will be.
Then if it's back home, go back late at nite with a hoodie an blow the place off the map!! JOKING! LOL!
